Our Process

At FSL York, we believe a successful landscaping project starts with clear communication, careful planning, and expert craftsmanship. From the initial consultation through to the final walkthrough, we guide you through every stage to ensure a smooth process and exceptional results.

1. Initial Site Consultation

We begin with a site visit to discuss your ideas, requirements, and budget. This allows us to understand how you want to use your outdoor space while assessing the existing garden layout and any practical considerations.

2. Design & Planning

Following the consultation, we develop a clear plan for the project including layout, materials, and construction methods. Where required, we provide design visuals and professional recommendations to help bring your vision to life.

3. Detailed Quotation

You will receive a detailed quotation outlining the full scope of works, materials to be used, and the overall project cost. Our quotations are clear and transparent so you know exactly what is included.

4. Quote Acceptance & Payment Plan

Once you are happy with the proposal, we confirm acceptance of the quotation and schedule the project. A structured payment plan is agreed in advance, typically staged throughout the project to align with key milestones, ensuring clarity and peace of mind for both parties.

5. Project Scheduling

After acceptance, we arrange a confirmed start date and organise all required materials and equipment to ensure the project runs efficiently from the outset.

6. Construction & Installation

Our experienced team carries out the work with precision, care, and attention to detail. We maintain a clean and organised site while keeping you informed of progress throughout the build.

7. Final Walkthrough & Project Sign-Off

Once the work is completed, we conduct a final walkthrough with you to ensure everything has been finished to the highest standard. We only consider the project complete once you are fully satisfied with the finished result.
